One amazing facet of human beings is their ability to adapt to any situation, regardless of how good or bad that scenario may be.
Of course, some things are still just annoying. In this case, an Apple iPad 6 that had cracked glass that I think they'd just been living with for a while, as it the device kept kicking around as an evening couch device.
Luckily it was just the digitizer glass that had the crack, and the LCD panel itself was still completely intact, and this iPad is still from the era where Apple was designing their tablets with separate digitizer and LCD elements.
Of course, this is also from the era of Touch ID as a physical button, where the button is paired to the motherboard, so I had to do a quick transplant of the Touch ID button onto the new glass.
